Bobbi Brown x Elle Vietnam

Thanks to our sweet web editor i got the opportunity to be the model for a Bobbi Brown make-up video. She sent in my pictures and i cant believe they chose me ! I rarely ever get my make-up done so i was really excited about it. Plus i love Bobbi Brown products, above all the gel eyeliner of course ! See all the things they brought for the shoot ?! Sick ! 

I didnt do much besides sitting there and smiling. The make-up artist Kai was really nice and complimented my skin. Actually iam really proud of my skin, i usually dont have to use make-up. Actually i never do use make-up. He gave us a lot of very useful tips and i can finally apply blush nicely ! 

It was all a cool experience and i loved the goodie bag they gave me ! There was gel eyeliner in there of course and a couple other Bobbi Brown products like creme and blush ! They wrote me a really nice card as well but as i dont have a camera right now i couldnt take pictures of it yet. 

Elle Vietnam has provided me many awsome opportunities and iam very greatful for every each of them.

Today is my last day and iam going home in 16 days from now. Three months have passed so fast.

Elle Man Launching Event

Even though it was raining and the location was Chill sky bar, a lot of people came to the launching event of the male counterpart of Elle magazine ! Elle man has made its way to Vietnam and me as Elle intern worked with the editors who were responsible for the fashion and shopping sections ! Its a funny feeling doing all the necessary things for a shooting like borrowing clothes and helping out at the shooting, not really thinking much about it, and then see the final thing in printed form ! We had so many shootings during that time foe Elle magazine and Elle man, i didnt even check up on the results until the magazine was out. 

Anyway, back to the event, whiskey and Personi beer for free, one of my favourite beers btw, models, other hot and less hot people, well-dressed and less well-dressed people at a great location. What could you want more ?

I couldnt take any pictures, not even with my iphone because my iphone was robbed as well. Things are coming to an end in Vietnam, iam almost through with my internship, lost almost everything i could have lost and will go back to Germany empty-handed, having to work very hard for all my essentials again. I enjoyed my internship at Elle magazine a lot, everyone was so nice to me and it was really fun working here. I got an insight into a different side of Vietnamese society, the fashion scene and everything connected to it. I will go back to Germany with a lot more experience and iam thankful for that.

I just got this amazing pair of studded sneakers from Jeffrey Campbell from the sales at Harrods last week They are just super douper comfy.I've lounged around in them and cooked while wearing them.. London's weather is getting much better these days so hopefully i can start packing away my fur coats and showcase some summer outfits ( not sure if the summer body is here quite yet) .

Popbirdy Lookbook

A few days ago i played model for my roommates shop, called Popbirdy (check it out if you want to order and live in Vietnam) ! You know iam not the kind of person to do things i dont want to do and dont like to do, so even if she is my roommate i wouldnt have agreed to take pictures for her if her clothes werent so freaking cool ! They fit my style perfectly,a nd the quality is really good, too ! What do you think ? 

Btw blogs are blocked in Vietnam right now so i cant even look at my own blog after posting an entry. Bullshit, really. Oddly i can still blog, i just cant view my blog. Whats wrong with these people here, really.

I really dont know why i used to dislike waring this bag ! You know sometimes i have phases in which i just keep wearing one thing all the time and then a couple weeks later everytime i pick it up and just want to throw it away haha. Been owning this one for a couple years already and it still serves me well.

Riccardo's Sweetest Gypsy Romance

If Givenchy Fall /Winter 2012 collection did not win a place in my heart then its latest Pre-Spring/ Resort collection plays a completely opposite card. Riccardo brings back his bohemian luxe while playfully manipulating the architectural graphic prints with slouchy pants. After all, from seasons to seasons, this collection proves strongly that Riccardo Tisci is a confident designer with the 'i-can-do-anything mode' written all over his breath-taking garments. My favourites are definitely those capelike dress with slits all the way down the shoulders and those T-shape boxy jackets ! Ahh, i'd die ! Which look is your fave?

PS. by the way , i've heard a rumour that H&M will be doing a collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela next season, could this be true?  Shall we expect something like this ? Let's stay in tuned!

The beautiful Eduuard Daneil , looking all fierced up for the event

A steering wheel upholstered in leather and driving gloves in peccary skin were only a few things among the wonderful display from Hermes at their Leather Forever exhibition at London last month. I am sure most of us often recall the image of a Birkin Bag ( which takes in average 48hrs of production time) as an essential arm candy from the like of the Kardashians or the WAGS, this exhibition, in the other hand, was a strong antidode to this idea. Not only was it an exquisite event to showcase the valuable image of the brand, it highlighted beautifully the craftsmanship and the dedication that’s gone into the design highlighting not only its extravagant heritage but also its uniqueness.
