Wow i had my first shooting today ! With a concept, models, and a chosen location ! In bigger size i like the pictures even better. I was so afraid of not being able to catch the mood and not being able to actually take good pictures but i love the results. It was really hard for me as well as photographer because both of my models felt so uneasy, since they are no professionals, Nathalie is my friend and muse and Mo is a classmate of mine. They behaved like two kids on their first date ever, both so stiff and nervous. Nathalie had to laugh all the time, both moved their arms too much while talking to each other... It wasnt easy for me either. I prefer natural facial expressions thats why i usually take pictures in random moments when my friends arent watching, but this shooting wasnt too bad, though i had to give quite some instructions. I love the pictures : ) There are many more but im not gonna upload them all. What do you think ?

Im not the kind of girl to walk around in heels on a daily basis actually. I love my Converse, Nikes and Supras. As well as my Doc Martens and other flat shoes. I have gathered quite a lot of heels over the past years and i love every each of them, too, but i dont wear them so often tbh. One reason might be that im aaaaalways late and on the run, and im reallyyy slow in heels lol. I like to combine elegant + sporty (though im so not ! haha). My new H&M top, im so in love with it ! I never really was into lace but now i guess im starting to like it : )

If i had to describe my style... Idk... All i know is that its not extravagant. Im not much of an excentric and extravagant person. I like to wear black, boots and tights. Never do i wear Ballerinas or Jeans. Flat feet and big thighs. My hair and make up are as much part of my style as shoes and pants are. Essentials. I dont care much about brands but i do care about quality. Im not very colourful but thats me. Which doesnt mean that i dont like colourful. I love colours, but simply not on me. I adore a lot of styles. I might list them sometime. When it comes to seasons autumn is favourite. I like my style best when i can wear a light jacket and boots or sneakers.

GIRL OF THE MOMENT

The half Vietnamese Melanie Huynh , assistant stylist at French Vogue, is the girl with the perfect everything. Unlike her overseer Carine Roitfeld, who dabbles in extreme proportions and looks with aplomb, Melanie demonstrates a sort of restrained elegance and French-girl aptitude for looking completely comfortable and un-calculated (hate her). She frequently (always?) showcases her lithe legs (most likely never made to exercise) but keeps the top half of her ensembles more covered-up, to abide by one of the fashion rules I actually agree with. Her look is surprisingly attainable, since it is more about accenting neutral tones in fun shapes with standout accessories. Though it seems she shuns the oversize It-bag trend, spotted here even carrying a blandly lowbrow paper shopping bag filled with a bulky something-or-other, she occasionally favors the oversized envelope clutch for stowing her no-makeup makeup and commandments from Carine. She always manages to inject her outfits with a shot of edge, in the form of anything from beyond-studded sandals to an almost-patent skirt to an unexpected green plaid button-down.

I recommend toying with a miniskirt daring in length but plain in color and style, a slouchily chic long-sleeved top, some pseudo-dominatrix ankle boots or sandals with tights and a neat, structured jacket. Now to work on moving to Paris and becoming the next French vogue minion...
