Noko Jeans. Jeans from North Korea. Yes. North Korea. I have no idea how, but i was googling "fashion magazines korea" today, when i stumbled upon this interview from vice magazine. The title said "Jeans aus Nord Korea" (eng: Jeans from North Korea). This headline immediatly caught my undivided attention. Not a single thought about korean fashion magazines crossed my mind again. I read the interview. And i rarely ever read anything online that is longer than two sentences and not on facebook. All i thought while reading the interview was, hey, its great what those guys are doing. Until there was this question, how they can actually look at themselves in the mirror, virtually doing propaganda for North Korea. I was afraid of the answer. They really could have given stupid answers. But they didn't. Their answers seem perfectly reasonable to me. They believe that they can change something. And change would do North Korea good. I actually believe that only the ones who believe can achieve something.
Check out those jeans, there are only two types, KARA for women i guess, and OKE for guys. Or the other way round, depending on what kind of jeans you prefer. Realized something ? If i wore jeans, and i never do, i would definitely get myself a pair of the KARA's ! I mean, who ever gets the opportunity to own something made in North Korea ! So, spread the love, do support !
