TOWN AND FIELD

When Herieth Paul opened the show with that tweed hat and a cute mustard bow belt , I could not describe my excitement to see the rest of the collection. The collection was absolutely fabulous and extremely practical in my opinion. It’s true British style, but Burberry have gone more playful and innovative this time round with little cute bows on most of the pieces,  bow detail belts, bow detail shoulder epaulettes, bow detail everything!  I am so in love of the motif tees under the exquisite Burberry print and super stylish fabrics.  It’s so unlike Burberry but it really really works! I remember spotting the sweater with the gorgeous owl-printed on Kate Bosworth before the show even started. I also spotted some burst of bright aqua and royal blue that gives the deep outfits a little kick.  The use of velvet in dark purple and the striped over knee skirts just show how amazingly varied the collection was. My ultimate favourite match was the brown jacket belted over a burgundy lace skirt with a substantial amount of peplum. The collection surely focused on a sophisticated city-style with a twist of town and field element with full of characters. However, i would love to see a more variety of footwear in the collection. Overall, i strongly think  that Burberry have stayed true to their heritage, but MY GOD , Christopher Bailey knows how to modernise and play with style, shape, fabrics and colors without losing Burberry's traditional signature

Here are some shots of my favourite accesories from the runway. I absolutely adore the tweed flat-caps, the saddle bag, the studded gloves and the animal details zipped clutch bag !
