It's only October, but iam already freezing in my fur coat, which kept me warm during winter the last two years. Either it's because I have been sick the past two weeks, or because I feel the cold even more easily now, because Iam getting older (ha ha). I really don't know how Iam supposed the harsh icy winter Berlin without a proper jacket and boots to keep me warm. My only mission when shopping these days is to find clothes to keep me warm. Which is really hard, because they are supposed to look good as well. If I didn't care so much about looks, I'd just wear my purple Roxy snowboard jacket. And UGG boots. Nothing against UGG boots, but I don't like them on my feet. I don't like how they feel. So soft and odd. Like marshmallows. Anyone, if you have a great recommendation for me, whether it is jacket or boots, please share with me ! Iam so desperate to get through this winter as good as possible. I want to freeze and feel cold as little as possible. Because I really really hate feeling cold. Iam not made for German Winters man. So if you know a cool jacket that actually keeps you warm, tell me about it ! (Not Woolrich though.)

There is also an OOTD video existing for this outfit. I made my boyfriend film a little, after having seen Nisi's ootd video. I love how everything teetharejade do is done so nicely ! I really had high expectations of myself and my boyfriend for my first OOTD video, but we failed. The lightning and setting was really bad, it was getting dark outside already, so my video was a tad too dark as well. I tried to make it lighter and lost quality instead. Iam really disappointed, but will post it anyway. I will definitely do better next time ! (And will never shoot under bad light circumstances again!)

Do you happen to have a mom, whose style is so not yours at all ? Do you secretly envy your friends who can borrow beautiful clothes from their mother's closet all the time, and say that it's vintage from the 80's ? Welcome to the club then. My mom cares about her appearance a lot, and she loves shopping and is quite interested in "fashion", but what she likes is simply never what I like. She is more of a girly girl, digging colours like purple and shades of brown, while iam more of a black and white person. She likes glittery and cute clothes, while i prefer minimalistic cuts. It's simply not meant to be. I rarely ever find something in her closet that I would wear, so i never really look.

So when I was looking for accessories for my Dirndl the other day, I knew I wouldn't find what I was looking for among my stuff, so I checked out her accessories and saw this gorgeous Rado watch. I had seen her wearing the watch before, but somehow I never found it pretty on her wrist haha. I took it, wore it, my mom saw it on me, and told me to keep it, because it suits me. And that's how I got a new old watch. Which has an even greater value, because I got it from my mom. I wish she had more things I would wear.

How about you ? Can you share your parents closet, or are you one of the poor souls like me, who simply doesn't share your parents taste ?

My Navy Blue Vintage Dior Coat

Iam not much of an online shopper, because I prefer to try clothes on before I actually buy them. I know you can return clothes to online shops if they don't fit, but it's stress I prefer to avoid. When I was in Vietnam last year with not so many shopping opportunities around, a bank account filled with money I didn't have access to from Vietnam, and my online banking dates always in my agenda, I felt the urge to buy clothes online for the first time. I bought so many things, checked out Asos and Ebay all the time. A lot of my purchases turned out to be a mispurchase. Not among them was this beautiful Dior coat. Designer clothing really is different to mass production clothing. The quality of this coat is worth every cent I paid for it. A bargain. 62 US$ thanks to Ebay. I guess it's from the 80's, it had massive shoulder pads, but I got them removed for free. Now it's just the perfect oversized coat for autumn and currently the favorite piece in my closet.

A Blazer For All Occasions

I bought this blazer from the Lanvin for H&M collection three years ago (wow, time flies) and it is still a key piece in my wardrobe. Because I have worn and washed it so many times over the years, the fabric is much softer now, which gives it a laid-back look. Thanks to the gorgeous buttons, fabric and classic cut it hasn't lost any of its elegant charm though. See my Lanvin for H&M haul post from back then here. I can just throw this blazer over any outfit and it will make me look smarter yet cool ! As for the boyfriend jeans, I bought these at Primark on my last visit to London in November 2012 at a bargain price of something below 20 Pounds. They actually fit me tight when I bought them and I thought it looked real bad, but now that I have lost a few kilos I feel super comfortable in them. This is the first time in months that iam not wearing black skinny jeans, and I feel so bold for adding diversification to my leg wear. Although simple boyfriend jeans can't be considered bold at all. I even dare say that it looks good, and I think I should consider buying other pants than black skinny jeans from now on. It should be the first time in a while for you guys to see me in other pants than black skinny jeans as well, what do you think ? As for me, i consider these pants as an essential piece in my fall wardrobe already.

(Btw I made the mistake to resize my photos before editing them, that's why the first three pictures look a bit low quality. That mistake will never ever happen again. Most definitely.)

Eastern Europe Travel Diary

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably have known that i recently travelled to Eastern Europe for the first time. Touched down in London after 2 months in Vietnam left me awfully jetlagged but it did not affect my excitement at all for this wandaphul trip. My family hired a van and we drove from Paris to Stuggart then to Prague, Budapest, Vienna, Munich and back to Paris. I love roadtrippin' ever since i was a little child over any other mean of transportation, only because i could fully enjoy the gorgeous scenery that nature got to offer each and every country...in its very own way. Prague was stunning and brilliant like an amusement park while Budapest, i could feel that there are so so much charm and energy in every single corner of the city, not only during their National holidays. Vienna completely stole my heart....enough said, hope you enjoy the photos. Stay in tuned ! With love, N <3
